R software for students in the M.A. political science

Package for self-learning introduction module to R developed by Cologne political scientists

R is a free programming language and software environment for statistical computing and graphics supported by the R Foundation for Statistical Computing. The free software is widely used in the social sciences for developing statistical software and data analysis.

Political scientists at the University of Cologne developed the R Tutorial IntroRUzK. The aim of the package is to teach R to students with a self-learning module, so they can go through the material on their own computer at their own pace. The examples in this course are from political science, but no prior knowledge is needed to follow along. There are quizzes and coding exercises included in the tutorial, which will be useful to check progress.

You can download the package here: https://github.com/jenswaeckerle/IntroRUzK.
